I built PickDaddyAI. I also used it to win $100 on Powerball. Here's exactly what happened, what numbers I played, and what I think it means.
The Win
On the Wednesday June 4, 2026 Powerball drawing, the winning numbers were:
Winning numbers · Powerball shown in red
My ticket, generated using Claude's Pick strategy on PickDaddyAI:
My picks · Matching numbers highlighted in yellow
I matched 3 main numbers (14, 38, 55) plus the Powerball (12) — a legitimate prize worth $100. Not life-changing money. But real.
The Strategy I Used: Claude's Pick
Claude's Pick is one of PickDaddyAI's Lifetime-tier strategies. Unlike hot/cold number analysis or mathematical systems, Claude's Pick uses Claude AI (Anthropic's language model) to reason about number selection and generate picks with an explanation.
Each time you generate with Claude's Pick, the AI provides reasoning for why it selected those numbers — patterns it noticed, statistical considerations, and a transparent explanation of its thinking. It's not magic. It's not predicting the future. But it produces genuinely different picks than pure random or conventional frequency analysis.
I'd been running Claude's Pick on and off for a few weeks before this draw. This was the first time I hit a meaningful prize with it.
What I Did After
Here's the honest version: I got excited and immediately generated 5 more sets using Claude's Pick with Coverage Optimizer turned on. I kept Powerball 12 on several of them — partly superstition, partly because the math on bonus balls isn't as clear-cut as main numbers.
The next drawing? Two numbers away from hitting again. Close enough to be interesting, far enough away to be a good reminder that this is still a lottery.
What This Doesn't Mean
I want to be direct about this:
- I did not "crack" Powerball. Nobody has. The draw is random and every combination has equal odds.
- Claude's Pick didn't predict the winning numbers. I had 3 out of 5 main numbers. Two were wrong. The Powerball matched — but there are only 26 Powerballs, so that happens.
- This is not investment advice. Lottery is entertainment. Never spend money you can't afford to lose.
What I can say: Claude's Pick generated a ticket that matched more numbers than a typical quick pick tends to, and it produced a prize. Whether that's signal or noise in a sample size of one draw is genuinely unknowable.
What This Does Mean
I built PickDaddyAI because I believe in systematic number selection — not as a way to beat the lottery, but as a way to play it more thoughtfully. Tracking which strategies you use, seeing your pick history, understanding the frequency data behind your choices — that's what makes the difference between throwing money away and playing with intention.
Winning $100 using my own app was genuinely exciting. More exciting than I expected, honestly. It reinforced why I built this: not to promise jackpots, but to make lottery play feel smarter and more personal.
Try Claude's Pick Yourself
Claude's Pick is available on the Lifetime plan. It generates picks with AI reasoning — Claude explains why it chose each number, which makes the strategy feel different from any other approach in the app.
